The UNLA Green House Tour

Well went on our anual tour of some local greenhouses with the UNLA. They put this show on every year and it is always good to go because you can always learn something new from people in our industry. We went to a grower in Provo Utah first. They were starting to plant a few things. It makes me excited for spring. We went to another grower that focuses on retail and that was also very interesting to see. With the economy as slow as it is you can see how others are cutting costs and figuring out how to survive this new storm. There was one more greenhouse that we went to that grows very rare plant material. Very fun to see. They also designed the greenhouse to accomidate wedding receptions. Another way to adapt to survive. It was just nice to get out and talk with everyone. We are all very excited and think this year is going to be great. Our ground cover is looking excellant and will be ready to sell when people are ready to plant it.
