Cerastium tomentosum Snow-In-Summer

Cerastium tomentosum Snow-In-Summer

Snow in summer is covered in pure white flowers in early June. Fast spreading, mat forming plant with fuzzy gray-green leaves. Plant in well drained soil in full sun. Very drought tolerant. Lightly shear after blooming to keep plants looking neat.  This is a very popular plant in our region because of its hardiness.  It is a very durable plant that can handle some pretty severe climates around the U.S.
